Description
Respiratory Therapist
Location: Everett, Massachusetts
Shift: 12-hour evening shift (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
Schedule: Must work every other weekend (no block scheduling) and every other major holiday
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Work independently during shift in Respiratory Care unit
- Airway and ventilator management experience required
- Blood gas draw, analysis, and interpretation required
- Intubation experience required
- Experience with Meditech system for blood gas orders (experience with Epic preferred)
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with NBRC certification at time of submission
- Active Massachusetts RRT license at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in respiratory specialty
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Two recent manager/supervisor references in respiratory specialty
- Skills checklist matching respiratory specialty
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- Flu vaccine required during season
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
Additional Information
- Local candidates within 50 miles considered
- Return to Office (RTO) availability must be included at time of submission; not guaranteed after confirmation
