Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: Greenwood, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional weekends (2-3 weekend days per month)
- Shift: Day shift, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Setting: Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 44 beds
- Patient population: Adult inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF)
- Caseload: Usually 6-7 patients daily
- Focus: Customized, intense rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Environment: Fast-paced with short length of stay; emphasis on teamwork and collaborative discharge planning to home
- Float: Must be able to float to other rehab units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Indiana
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting
Additional Information
- No call requirements
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 32 hours
- Electronic Health Record system: UDS
- Dress code: Scrubs of any color except navy blue
- Orientation: Report at 8:00 AM on first day; parking available in main lot; check in at main entrance reception
