Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Nights
Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota

Job Description
- Provide holistic nursing care across the lifespan, focusing on neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults.
- Perform independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions according to standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area.
- Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice: assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinate care among disciplines, and delegate activities appropriately.
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
- Contribute to defining, implementing, and improving practice standards and the care environment.
- Duties and required clinical skills may vary based on the assigned unit; unit-based skill lists outline expectations beyond general RN requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota (temporary MN RN license accepted).
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required.
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Experience with newborn population care.
- Level III NICU experience required.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
- Must provide:
- Work history.
- Skills checklist current to within 1 year, relevant to specialty.
- Two supervisory references with dates of employment.
- MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing roles.
Additional Information
- Hospital-provided scrubs are required as dress code.
- Nonbillable hours: 4 hours.
- Strict compliance deadline for credential submission: 4 pm on the Wednesday before start date (no exceptions).
- Candidates must disclose if not eligible to work in the USA.
- Prior work history with this health system or related entities must be listed on the resume.
- Local traveler policy applies: permanent addresses within 35 miles considered local travelers.
- The facility is a Level III NICU and a leading family birth center with a high volume of deliveries annually.
