Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Job Description

• Perform CT imaging with experience on GE and Siemens equipment.
• Must have 3 years of CT technologist experience.
• Prior travel experience required.
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles as needed.
• Weekend schedule: work every 3rd weekend.
• Call responsibilities based on department needs; weekend coverage includes 1st shift until arrival.
• One holiday shift required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment as a CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ARRT certification in CT.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Experience with GE Healthcare CT equipment.

Required Credentials & Compliance (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

• Professional resume/profile and at least two professional references.
• License/certificate verification with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
• Background checks including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and criminal history within 90 days of start.
• Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics, and specialty skills checklist.
• Specialty exam demonstrating competency in CT technologist area (minimum 80% passing score, updated every 3 years).
• Medical and health documentation including:

  • Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive titer (no declinations accepted).
  • Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite).
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
  • Varicella immunity proof or vaccination (no declinations accepted).
  • Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted).
  • 2-step PPD or IGRA testing for tuberculosis with annual TB questionnaire.
  • Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement).
  • Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
• Ascension-specific onboarding forms and attestations including badge photo (headshot with white or blue background, no filters).

Additional Notes

• Floating to other sites within 40 miles may be required based on operational needs.
• Weekend and holiday coverage is part of the schedule.
• Prior travel experience is mandatory for this role.

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with strong technical skills on GE and Siemens scanners, who are comfortable with travel assignments and flexible scheduling.
