Description
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (PM Shift)
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with Medical/Surgical specialty for a PM shift assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- At least 1 year of total travel nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience managing nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-6
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
- Experience using Epic electronic health record system
Additional Information
- Influenza vaccine is optional but may be required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31) with possible medical/religious exemptions.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is optional and relevant for neuro or inpatient RNs.
- Specialty and pharmacology exams are optional but recommended; must be completed within 365 days prior to start with an 80% pass rate.

- All health and compliance documentation must be completed and uploaded prior to or during onboarding as specified.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this assignment.
- The assignment length is approximately 13 weeks.
- Shift covers overnight hours, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
