Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location

• Avon, Ohio

Position Details

• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 07:00)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• May float to other nearby facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Current NBRC certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Certifications & Training

• ACLS certification required if working in Emergency Department (AHA only)
• Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (approximately 4-5 hours, must be completed on a computer using Chrome)
• Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• HIPAA orientation and safety manual acknowledgement (annual update required)

Additional Requirements

• Must carry a valid government-issued photo ID while on assignment
• Photo for badge required prior to start
• I9/E-Verify attestation required
• All work history, including any previous work at the facility system, must be fully documented
• Scheduling and time-off requests must be communicated during submission and interview

Notes

• Candidates working with pediatric patients (RRT-NICU) have additional fingerprinting and certification requirements not applicable here.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
