Description
Electrophysiology Technologist
Overview
- Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
- Schedule: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Shift options: 5x8 or 4x10
- On-call required
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- Contract length: 40 weeks
Role Summary
- Assists physicians with invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement
- Supports circulatory support devices as indicated
- Works with electrophysiology procedures, including mapping, ablation, and implant devices
Required Qualifications
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- 1 year of Electrophysiology Technician experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program, Radiologic Technologist program, or Associate of Applied Science degree
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
Key Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
