Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Marquette, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours

  • 225-bed specialty care hospital
  • Services include Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, Pediatrics
  • Premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services in the region
  • Located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, central region
  • Largest community in the peninsula, home to Northern Michigan University

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department (ED), with experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
  • Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
  • Attendance policy:
    • Second absence results in a formal warning
    • Third absence may lead to contract termination unless otherwise agreed with unit leadership
    • All absences must be made up to maintain contracted hours
  • Early termination fees will not be covered if contract ends due to just cause, including attendance or professional conduct violations
