Physical Therapist Travel Job – Gainesville, Georgia

Position Overview

• Role: Physical Therapist
• Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day with weekend rotation
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed (including 8 weekend hours)
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: None

Facility & Unit Information

• Facility Type: Free-standing rehabilitation facility, 2-story building
• Number of Beds: 40
• Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per therapist
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with neurological, orthopedic, debility, amputee, and critical illness diagnoses
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Stroke (CVA), hip fracture, debility
• Equipment Used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt Table, Car Simulator, Chattanooga Tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: EPIC (read-only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
• ABCP certification
