Shift Details

• Night shift, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
• 10-hour shifts: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements; call back opportunities are voluntary

Job Description

• Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography (CT) procedures, including trauma patient CT with stroke protocols (CTA Head and Perfusion studies)
• Produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and healthcare providers
• Work independently using sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safe, precise, and timely procedures
• Provide competent patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• California Fluoroscopy Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check including SSN trace with all aliases, county searches, nationwide sex offender search, education verification, and FACIS Level 3 screening
• Annual updates required for EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and FACIS screenings
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug test within 6 months (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per California law)
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps
• Verification of up to 7 years of employment history required
• Professional references: 2 required for clinical candidates, within 3 years of hire

Certifications and Exams

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• Additional certifications may be required based on position specifics (verify with recruiter)
• Competency exams as applicable, including medication/pharmacology competency

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, cleared for work
• Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
• Immunizations or proof of immunity required for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (series or declination)
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination with mask-wearing in patient care areas

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Review and sign facility policies and documents prior to start, including:

  • Job description acknowledgment
  • Standards of business conduct
  • Vendor training and code of conduct (for contracts signed after specified dates)
  • TB screening questionnaire signed by candidate and healthcare provider
• Passport-style photo required for badge issuance

• No prior travel experience explicitly required
• No on-call duties, but voluntary call back opportunities available
