Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Akron, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM)
- Total Hours per Week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
Health & Safety Requirements
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 – Mar 31); declinations not accepted
- TB questionnaire annually if history of positive TB test
- Physical exam must include latex allergy notification if applicable
- All health documents must be current and on official records
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
- Fingerprinting must be completed both through the agency and at the facility
- Travelers with breaks in service of 2 or more months must update background checks
- Modules and onboarding must be completed before clearance to start; delays in module completion may risk assignment start date
- Traveler’s legal name must be used consistently in all systems
- Candidates can extend contract beyond 13 weeks if desired
