CT Technologist Position
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Job Summary
- Perform a variety of Computed Tomography (CT) procedures under physician and technical supervision.
- Use prescribed levels of ionizing radiation to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
- Work with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
- Able to insert and remove IVs.
- Follow all federal, state, local, and facility policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT).
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Required Credentials and Compliance
- Current professional license and certification verification (no conditional licenses accepted).
- N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required.
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella).
- TB screening within 3 months of start date and updated if break >6 months (skin test or blood test).
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months.
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months.
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months.
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
- Education verification through background check company.
- Submission of a detailed resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
- Completion of a skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and attestation prior to onboarding.
- Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for any start date changes.
Additional Information
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test.
- Name change documentation required if credentials do not match legal name.
- TB symptom survey required if positive TB test, updated annually.
This position does not require prior travel experience.
