Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (36 guaranteed hours weekly)
Weekend Hours: As required by facility
Call Requirements: None
Job Description
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process in an outpatient diagnostics/endoscopy setting.
- Maintain professional accountability for patient care.
- Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments.
- Preferred experience includes circulating endoscopy procedures, pre-op, and recovery care. At minimum, experience with pre/post endoscopy care is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience, with experience within the last year
- Pre-Op experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

- No specific patient ratios or bed counts applicable
Dress Code
- Scrubs color: Light blue (provided by facility)

- Located in northwest Oklahoma City with access to local attractions such as Route 66, arts district, hiking, fishing, and sports events.
