Job Opportunity: Technologist - Nuclear Medicine (Temp, Days)

Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience. CT experience is a plus. This role requires hands-on operation of GE imaging equipment and proficiency with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems. Venipuncture skills are required.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience (higher requirement takes precedence)
  • Venipuncture experience
  • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license
  • ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification (either accepted)
  • Experience with GE imaging machines
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must have a permanent address outside of the following New York counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington (address must match driver’s license/state ID and be included in profile)
  • Must have own vehicle (firm requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel experience preferred

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements

  • Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
  • Must provide New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate upfront with submission
  • Completion of verbal de-escalation training from either Welle or CPI required for onboarding and clearance (effective 1/1/2024)
  • Upload the following with profile:
    • Work history
    • Skills checklist (updated within 1 year)
    • One supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years
    • Current NY State Rad Tech license, ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS certification
    • Permanent address documentation matching ID
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed during assignment; RTO requests after upload will not be approved

Additional Information

  • No block scheduling will be considered
  • Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color without designs or cartoons; no hoodies
  • Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
  • Call: Not required for this assignment
  • Cancellation policy: Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts during the 13-week contract with 2 hours’ notice
