Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Kennewick, Washington

Job Summary

• Work in a Level 3 Trauma Operating Room with 6 OR rooms.
• Patient population primarily adults and geriatrics.
• Patient ratio is 1:1.
• Equipment mainly Stryker brand.
• Electronic Health Record system: Paragon.
• Shift: Day shift, 40 hours per week.
• Call requirements: 7 calls per month, including at least 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday, and 1 holiday.
• Specialty areas include General Surgery (robotic and laparoscopic), Urology, Gynecology, Spine, Orthopedics (including total joints, podiatry, and hand), and Vascular surgery.
• Cases vary between outpatient and inpatient.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• No float requirements.
• Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel.
• This is a teaching hospital serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland).
• The area offers recreational opportunities including golf courses, parks, and is part of Washington Wine Country.
• Conveniently located within a few hours of Seattle, Portland, and Spokane, with direct flights from the local airport to major U.S. hubs.
