Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Port St Lucie, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Cath Lab Technician with experience in Cardiac Cath and at least two of the following modalities: Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro. Candidates must have this experience clearly reflected in their work history.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 10-hour shifts
• Call: Required on a case-by-case basis, no set schedule
• Weekend requirement: To be discussed with manager
• Floating: Yes, within scope and to sister facilities within 20 miles

Required Experience

• Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty required
• 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) preferred
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) also preferred
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• National certification verification required within 30 days of start
• Florida Radiographer License and ARRT certification required if applicable (per specialty)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1.5 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Experience as a Vascular Technologist
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Onboarding & Compliance

• All required documents and restrictions on time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront
• Completion of online training modules prior to start is mandatory; modules must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome without skipping videos
• Facility uses EPIC for charting
• Smoke-free facility policy strictly enforced
