Registered Nurse - OB/GYN (Travel)
Location: Lebanon, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- Patient Population: Obstetric, Gynecology, and Newborn
- Patient Ratios: According to AWHONN Staffing Standards
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): Meditech and Centricity
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Level 1 Newborn Nursery
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: 24
- Call Requirements: Rotate call during low census
- Float Requirements: May be asked to float to other units during high volume when census is low on Labor & Delivery
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience, including Labor and Delivery
- OB/GYN experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- STABLE (for neonatal care)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in postpartum care and Level 1 newborn nursery

Work Environment and Culture
- Dress Code: Professional attire; scrubs of any color allowed
- Unacceptable Attire: T-shirts (unless nursing-related themes), blue jeans
- Personality Fit: Preference for women nurses as favored by the local community
Orientation
- Weekly orientation provided
This position offers a focused Labor & Delivery nursing role with opportunities to care for postpartum mothers and newborns in a community hospital setting. The role requires strong clinical skills in obstetrics and neonatal care, with flexibility to assist other units as needed.
