Registered Nurse (Emergency Room) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Silvis, Illinois
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (varied schedule across two weeks)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Schedule rotates over two weeks with night shifts primarily from 7 PM to 7 AM and some shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS
  • PALS or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Experience in supervisory roles within nursing or healthcare settings

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit Test (for respirators)
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start; must include specific substances; no THC allowed)
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in Illinois) with booster through September 2025; assignment end date October 2026
• MMR: Proof of two vaccinations or IgG titer lab results
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted
• Influenza Vaccine: Optional but recommended; declination accepted except in Illinois
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening; chest x-ray if positive TB within required timeframe
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab results
• Tdap: Current, non-expired vaccine required; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within the last year confirming fitness to work

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal Background Check: Federal, nationwide, and county checks from last 7 years; must be dated within 30 days of start
• Education Verification: Highest level of academic education verified (degree or diploma/GED)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days; includes statewide check for Michigan if applicable
• Iowa-specific criminal and abuse registry checks if applicable
• Trinity Code of Conduct Form signed
• Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement signed
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form signed
• Integrity and Audit Services Form signed shortly before start
• Non-Employee Upload Form completed and uploaded
• System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Joint Commission CORE Exam completed within the last year
