Description
Job Opportunity: RN Nursing Supervisor - Emergency Room
Location: Silvis, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Primarily night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (with some variation in schedule during first two weeks)
Job Description
- Position in the Emergency Room specialty.
- Responsible for nursing supervision duties.
- Schedule includes a mix of night and evening shifts over a two-week rotation.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year.
- Experience in supervisor roles.
Additional Notes
- All licenses and certifications must be verified and dated within 30 days of assignment start.
- Documentation must be uploaded and maintained in the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
- Specialty skills checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors.
- The assignment requires adherence to strict compliance and credentialing standards.
This position is suitable for experienced Emergency Room RNs seeking a supervisory role on a long-term contract with comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
