ICU RN Position - Waterloo, Iowa

Job Details

• Specialty: RN ICU
• Location: Waterloo, Iowa
• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Schedule: Every third weekend, every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS
• CPI
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background checks (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
• Various professional forms and agreements including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • I9 verification
  • Confidentiality and system security agreement
  • Integrity and audit services form
  • Non-employee upload form
  • Conflict of interest disclosure
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks
  • Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check and state-specific registries (Iowa-specific dependent adult and child abuse registry check required)
  • OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days of start
  • System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
