Description
Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 10 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Job Description
- Work schedule includes 36 hours through 7/24, then covering 24-hour shifts on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting 7/31 to cover vacations and 24-hour position coverage.
- Required to float between three sites: Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett.
- Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient ultrasound in Radiology, covering all department tasks for all ages.
- Must be proficient in general Ultrasound, Small Parts, Vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), OBGYN (fetal survey for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters), and some pediatrics (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current ARDMS certification.
- Current RDMS certification.
- Experience as a Vascular Sonographer.
- Experience as an Ob/Gyn Sonographer.
- Experience as a Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist.
