Description
Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 ten-hour shifts) with rotating day off
On-Call: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required with a 30-minute callback expectation
Job Description
- Perform duties as a Cath Lab Technician during day shifts
- Participate in on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Health and Safety Requirements
- Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite; updated annually)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Proof of two Varicella vaccines, serological immunity, or documented history (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- 2-step PPD or negative IGRA test for tuberculosis with annual TB questionnaire; if positive, chest X-ray within one year required
- Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
Additional Requirements
- Completion of assignment agreement and onboarding education attestation
- Submission of a professional profile or resume
- Completion of skills checklist within one year of start and updated annually
- Confirmation of assignment documentation upon initial assignment and extensions
Contract Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Work schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating day off
- On-call responsibilities include weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute callback requirement
