Description
Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Location
- Allentown, Pennsylvania
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift, 3 shifts per week
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
- Total 36 hours per week
- No on-call required
Job Description
- Provide respiratory care in both neonatal and pediatric units based on facility needs
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Level 3 or higher NICU or a minimum of 1 year PICU experience
- Minimum 2 years of total respiratory specialty experience required
- First-time travelers are accepted
Requirements/Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years of NICU experience
- NICU respiratory therapy experience within the last year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Demonstrated respiratory therapist experience
