Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Concord, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour day shifts (4x10s, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Schedule Details:
- Department staffed Monday through Friday
- Flexible day off, but coverage required every Wednesday
- Call hours Monday-Friday 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Job Description
- Work in a mid-large facility with 5 patient bays
- Perform scrubbing and circulating duties independently
- Proficient in the following procedures:
- Angiograms (A-grams)
- AV fistulograms
- Ports
- PICC lines
- Hemodialysis catheters
- Kyphoplasty
- Biopsies (Ultrasound and CT guided)
- Drainages (paracentesis and thoracentesis)
- Lumbar punctures
- Myelograms
- Steroid injections (joint and back)
- IVC filter placement and removal
- Baker cyst aspirations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment
- ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in the following procedures:
- Angiograms (A-grams)
- AV fistulograms
- Ports
- PICC lines
- Hemodialysis catheters
- Kyphoplasty
- Biopsies (Ultrasound and CT guided)
- Drainages (paracentesis and thoracentesis)
- Lumbar punctures
- Myelograms
