Registered Nurse - Step Down
Location
- Fort Smith, Arkansas

- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Call requirements: As needed by unit
Unit Information
- Patient ratio: 5:1
- Float requirements: Medical-Surgical unit
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- Experience with post-cardiovascular surgeries
- Ability to titrate cardiac drips including Nitro, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Esmolol
Work Environment and Culture
- Comfortable with rapid turnaround and changing priorities
- Dress code: Black scrubs
Additional Notes
- Patient population includes those requiring step down care after cardiac procedures
- Facility recognized for exceptional customer service and patient safety (Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade “A”)
