Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Billings, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately July to October)
Employment Type: Travel
Facility Overview
- 34-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Focus on treatment and recovery for patients with severe injury or illness
- Specialized rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Patient population primarily adults 14 years and older with neuro, ortho, spinal cord, and trauma diagnoses
- Patient-to-staff ratio approximately 6:1
- Equipment includes Synaptic, TechnoBody, InMotion, Ekso skeleton, Real VR System, and traditional gym equipment
Position Details
- Role: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Shift: Day
- Hours per week: 36
- Weekend requirement: 1 weekend per month
- Patient diagnoses commonly treated: stroke, pelvis, hip, knee, ankle fractures, amputees, brain injury, laminectomy
- Team-oriented work environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Montana
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience within the last year
