    Description

    Job Opportunity: CT Tech

    Location: Palo Alto, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks
    Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
    Hours per Week: 40


    Job Description

    • Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography (CT) procedures independently to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
    • Utilize clinical skills and sound judgment to ensure safe, precise, and timely procedures.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gain cooperation and confidence.
    • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain patient privacy and safety.
    • May assist in orienting new staff and perform specific CT-related procedures.
    • Experience with CTA (CT Angiography), Calcium scoring, and structural CTs is required.
    • Possible weekend shifts as needed.

    Required Certifications & Licenses

    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • ARRT (R) or CT certification
    • California Radiation License
    • California Fluoroscopy License

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid CT Technologist license in California
    • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT) certification
