Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Palo Alto, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography (CT) procedures independently to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Utilize clinical skills and sound judgment to ensure safe, precise, and timely procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gain cooperation and confidence.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain patient privacy and safety.
- May assist in orienting new staff and perform specific CT-related procedures.
- Experience with CTA (CT Angiography), Calcium scoring, and structural CTs is required.
- Possible weekend shifts as needed.
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT (R) or CT certification
- California Radiation License
- California Fluoroscopy License
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT) certification
