CT Technologist Position - New Jersey

Job Overview

• Produce computerized tomography (CT) images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician.
• Schedule includes varying shifts with weekend availability required.
• Holiday work every other holiday.
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (12-hour shift).
• Weekly hours: 36.
• Return to Office (RTO) requirement: no more than 3 days.
• Emergency Room experience preferred.
• Dress code: Black scrubs.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology with training in Computerized Assisted Tomography.
• 1-2 years as a staff Radiologic Technologist with prior CT experience preferred.
• New Jersey DEP license required.
• ARRT certification required.
• CT certification required or must be attained within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certified.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• IV certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Must have experience with EPIC system, if applicable.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Orientation & Onboarding

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination.
• Orientation includes a virtual welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules to be completed by the first Monday.
• In-person classes typically held Tuesday through Thursday at multiple locations; candidates must check HealthStream for location details on the day of class.

Additional Requirements

• Background check, drug screen, educational and employment verification.
• Compliance with mandatory annual training and various health screenings/vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19, Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, TdaP).
• Verification against multiple exclusion and sanction lists.
• Physical exam and references required.
• Competency exam and skills checklist to be completed.
