Cath Lab Technician (ARRT Certified Radiologic Tech)

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, plus 7 call shifts per 4-week schedule block (including 3 full weekend call shifts)
Unit: Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab (2 rooms)
Patient Population: Adult

Job Description

• Perform duties as an ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Procedures include PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, ablations, and lead revisions.
• Responsibilities include scrubbing for device implants and EP procedures.
• Potential floating to Interventional Radiology as needed.
• Use of Toshiba X-Ray and Cannon equipment.
• Charting/documentation in EPIC (Cupid module).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Massachusetts
• Cath Lab Technologist (3 years of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• 2 years or more of total travel experience
• ARRT
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Interventional experience
• Cardiac experience
• PCI experience
• EP Lab experience
• Scrub experience for device implants
• Lead revision experience
• Ablation experience
• Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
• Experience with Epic
