Surgical Technician (CST) - Boise, Idaho
Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 06:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NBSTSA certification with at least 1 year of experience
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Health and Immunization Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by September 2025), or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
- Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (1st shot before start, 2nd shot 30 days later, 3rd shot 6 months later); titers not accepted
- Influenza vaccine proof or declination/exemption (optional)
- Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
- Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test; if positive, chest x-ray per regional requirements
- Fit test (respirator)
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification and all known aliases; must be dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic level (degree or diploma/GED)
- Exclusion screenings including EPLS, OIG, NSO, and GSA/OIG reports dated within 30 days
- Signed professional forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Standard I-9 verification completed by agency
- System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
Documentation Submission
- Resume and skills checklist (within the last year)
- Two professional references
- Specialty exam and skills checklist copies attached to candidate record
This position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist with current certifications and compliance with extensive health, background, and professional documentation standards. The assignment is a 13-week long-term contract with a day shift schedule in Boise, Idaho.
