Occupational Therapist Travel Job - Sacramento, CA
Job Details
- Location: Sacramento, California
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM), Monday to Friday with 2 weekend days per month
- Work Setting: Primarily skilled nursing facility with occasional float to inpatient acute care hospital (same parking lot)
- Patient Load: 7-9 patients treated per day
- Patient Diagnoses: CVA (stroke), TKA (total knee arthroplasty), THA (total hip arthroplasty), COPD
- EMR System: Cerner
- Uniform: Burgundy scrubs
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekend days per month
- Holidays: Possible holiday shifts
- Orientation: Floor-specific orientation provided
- Coverage Areas: Stations A, B, C, and D
- Rehab Aides/OTA/PTA: Not available
Required Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapy license
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Must provide 2 supervisory references: one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years
- Valid government-issued ID matching legal name on application
- Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any related facility within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable

- Inpatient only (no outpatient duties)
- No pharmacy responsibilities
