Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position
Location: Washington, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3 shifts of 12 hours (3x12)
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Hours: As needed
Call Requirements: None
Job Description
- Provide respiratory care including setting up and operating therapeutic gas administration devices and mechanical ventilators.
- Deliver emergency care such as external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Maintain accurate patient charts including identification and therapy information.
- Must float to other units as needed.
- Work aligns with the facility’s mission, vision, and values.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Unit & Work Environment
- Acute care hospital setting with comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric services.
- Facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke and STEMI Center.
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
- Dress code: Black scrubs required.
