Nuclear Medicine Tech

- Full-time, day shift
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- NMTCB certification or ARRT (NM)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and related imaging equipment operation
- Educate, position, and immobilize patients for procedures
- Coordinate examinations to support timeliness, quality, and continuity of care
- Follow provider imaging orders and submit images and clinical information for interpretation
- Prepare and administer radioisotopes according to protocol
- Follow radiation safety measures and maintain radioisotope records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Practice sterile technique and infection prevention policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership
Skills and Work Environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Ability to use computers and Microsoft Office Suite, and learn job-related applications
