Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Hospital with Adult and Pediatric Emergency Rooms
Job Description
- Perform CT imaging services in a high-acuity trauma center environment, including adult and pediatric ER settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid CT Technologist license/certification as required by the state of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Minimum years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard for CT Technologist roles.
- Must provide a current professional resume/profile.
- At least two professional references required prior to assignment.
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license or state ID matching address requirements.
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Signed assignment agreement and confirmation documents.
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with a minimum passing score of 80%.
- Medical imaging contract worker onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training).
- Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations).
- Health documentation including:
- Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive immunity titer (no declinations accepted).
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be done onsite).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
- Varicella immunity proof or vaccination (no declinations accepted).
- Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted).
- Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
- Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test with required follow-up documentation.
- Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Criminal background check including Social Security trace, OIG search, national sex offender registry, and other required screenings within 90 days of assignment start.
- Employment and education verifications completed within 90 days of start, updated annually or after breaks in service longer than 90 days.
- Annual skills checklist for clinical specialty.
Additional Notes
- Flu vaccine is optional; if declined during flu season, mask-wearing is required.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
