Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Work Setting: Daytime hybrid CT/Diagnostic position


Required Qualifications

  • CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid license appropriate for CT Technologist in Pennsylvania
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC certification required
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required if applicable to unit
    • National Certification/Verification prior to facility start and upon expiration, as applicable by profession and state
  • Competency Exams (if applicable):
    • Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam (for RNs)
    • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
  • Background Checks:
    • Comprehensive background check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including SSN trace, criminal searches, sex offender search, DMV (if driving required), education verification, and state-specific PATCH search
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
    • Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint clearance required within 90 days of start (all pages must be submitted)
  • Health Requirements:
    • Physical exam within 2 months of start
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as per guidelines
    • Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
      • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
      • Measles (Rubeola)
      • Mumps
      • Rubella
      • Hepatitis B (positive antibody titer or completed vaccine series)
      • Varicella
    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption (clinical staff)
    • COVID-19 vaccination or signed declination with facility-specific form
    • Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start (9-panel without THC acceptable). Observed drug screens required if initial test is dilute
    • Respirator medical clearance required annually for respirator use starting 04/07/2025
  • Facility-Specific Documents:
    • Photo for badge (new candidates starting 3/31/2025 and after)
    • Affidavit for provisional employment prior to start
    • COVID and flu declination forms if applicable
  • References: Minimum of 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start
  • Employment Application: Complete 7 years of work history with explanations for gaps over 90 days, education, license/certification info, and contact information
  • State-Specific Requirements:
    • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search within 90 days of start
    • Pennsylvania Medicheck Search within 30 days of start (not required for 100% remote non-clinical)

Additional Information

  • Background checks and verifications must be completed and cleared prior to or within specified timeframes after start.
  • Fingerprinting must be completed through Pennsylvania Department of Human Services procedures; out-of-state fingerprinting possible with non-reimbursed fee.
  • Drug screen results must be uploaded with appropriate expiration dates; dilute results require follow-up observed testing.
  • Fit test questionnaire required for all candidates prior to start (except 100% remote non-clinical).
  • Badge request and photo requirements apply to new candidates starting on or after specified dates.
  • Candidates declining vaccines must complete facility-specific declination forms and follow masking policies as applicable.
