Unit Information

  • Unit: Pediatrics/PICU
  • Number of Beds: 12
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 2:1 in PICU
  • Equipment Used: Nihon Koden, Drager ventilators
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Cerner
  • Patient Population: Pediatrics
  • Float Requirement: Must be able to float to a second unit, usually NICU

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana
  • Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
