Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position
Location
- Vernal, Utah

- Emergency Room treats over 14,000 patients annually, staffed 24/7 with dedicated ER physician
Unit Information
- Department: Respiratory Therapy
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 6 days on, 8 days off
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 (includes weekend hours)
- Call Requirements: None
- Patient Population: All age groups (geriatric, adult, pediatric, neonatal)
- Equipment Used: Ventilators, Bipaps, Vapotherm, Infant Nasal CPAP
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Medhost
- Patient Ratios: Vary
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Utah
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Critical Care experience
Preferred Attributes
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Experience with common diagnoses such as asthma, COPD, and premature infants
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Navy blue
- Street clothes are not acceptable
Additional Notes
- Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel position
