Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Northport, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work hours: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday
- One weekend required per month; holidays as required
- Work setting: Inpatient and acute care units
- Must be willing to float to different units
- Patient population includes geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients
- Responsibilities include completing evaluations, formulating and collaborating on care plans, performing therapeutic interventions, patient/family education, and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Alabama
- Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy

- Position is patient-facing and not remote
- Clinical documentation system: Meditech
- Dress code: Neutral/Professional attire
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
