Description
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy unit, serving adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Work in a 4-bed unit specializing in procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.
- Support a facility accredited by the Joint Commission with a trauma level 3 designation.
- Utilize Meditech electronic health records system.
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed
- On-call responsibilities as needed
- Float to other units as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience within the last year
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) prior to start
Additional Information
- Orientation occurs biweekly on Wednesdays
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs or hospital OR scrubs; casual wear is not permitted
