Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Weekend Hours: On call
Call Requirements: More than 12 days per contract

Job Description

Work primarily in the Cardiac Cath Lab with a focus on Interventional Cardiology.
Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including:
- Vascular embolization
- Ports placement
- Vascular stenting
- Nephrostomy tube procedures
Occasional Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
Float occasionally to IR.
Patient population is adult.
Equipment used includes GE systems.
Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.
Typical diagnoses treated include Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).
Team-oriented work environment.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year.
Current BLS certification.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required.

Additional Information

Orientation occurs bi-weekly.
Scrubs and dress code are hospital provided.
Weekend and call coverage required.
Position involves working in a 90-bed facility.
On-call coverage exceeds 12 days during the contract.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
