Description
CT Technologist
Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Night shift, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description
- Prepare patients for CT examinations and position them according to physician orders.
- Operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories.
- Produce quality diagnostic images as directed by physicians and radiologists.
- Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, technical factors, basic computer skills, and PACS.
- Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques is required.
- Provide patient care and safety for all patient populations.
- Work independently during assigned shifts performing CT and X-ray.
- Recent experience with Epic (within the last 12 months) is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Iowa.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
- CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- Experience with Epic.
Additional Information
- This position requires working independently during weekend night shifts.
- The assignment length is approximately 13 weeks.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Candidate must be able to provide all required documentation and clearances prior to start.
