Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details
- Specialty: Respiratory Therapy (Neonatal experience a plus)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Every 3rd weekend required
- Holidays: Two holidays per assignment (one winter, one summer)
- Location: Local candidates only; must be open to converting to full-time employee (FTE)
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of continuing education specific to job and Pennsylvania state requirements
Additional Requirements
- Background check and drug screening
- Verification of credentials and employment history
- Compliance with mandatory annual training and competency exams
- Health screenings including TB, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap vaccines
- Various state and federal screenings and certifications (e.g., PA Child Abuse History Certification, FBI clearance)
Experience
- Experience required in all areas of respiratory therapy
- Neonatal respiratory experience is a plus
