Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Michigan City, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- Call Requirement: None
- Number of Beds on Unit: 23
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Patient Population: Newborn to adult
- EMR System: Epic
- Equipment Used: Level 1, Sonosite, Bear Hugger
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Qualifications
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

- No float requirements
- Dress code: Navy scrubs
- Reporting location: Employee parking lot on the ED side
- No call responsibilities
