Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36-hour week, rotating day/night shifts

  • 12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Health and Safety Requirements

• N95 Fit Test completed within 365 days prior to start and updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (part of Fit Test process)
• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) or proof of immunity via blood test
• TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if break >6 months
• Physician Health Statement signed within 365 days of start and updated if break >6 months
• Positive TB test requires negative chest X-ray documentation (optional but recommended)

Background and Compliance Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start and updated if break >6 months; includes international residence/travel history for last 7 years
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start and updated if break >6 months
• National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check covering last 7 years
• Education verification of highest degree or certification required for the position

Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the relevant skillset
• Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission
• Candidate submission coversheet (current version)
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for any extensions

Additional Notes

• No conditional licenses accepted
• Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
• Some locations may allow fit test updates if assignment is extended
• Name change documentation required if credentials do not match legal name
