Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed

Job Description
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy in a 50-bed acute rehabilitation hospital setting.
- Treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.
- Deliver customized, individualized rehabilitation focused on maximizing health, function, and quality of life.
- Patient population primarily adults with neuro, orthopedic, TBI, SCI, and cardio-pulmonary diagnoses.
- Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7 depending on acuity.
- Utilize specialized equipment including Smart Car, Vector, Lite Gait, Senaptec, TBI gym, transfer rooms, outdoor functional courtyard, with EKSO exoskeleton arriving in September.
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
Additional Information
- Scrub color: Green.
- Report time on first day: 8:00 AM.
- Parking available on-site (side or back of building).
- No weekend hours required.
