RN-Diagnostic Cardiology
Location
Detroit, Michigan
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts
- Shift times: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
Role Summary
Provides nursing care for patients in a diagnostic cardiology setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, delegation, supervision, documentation, and patient/family teaching. The role also involves communicating patient information to the care team and helping resolve variances from patient goals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Cardiology (2 years of experience)
- Cardiology experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cardiac testing
Additional Job Details
- Performs cardiac stress tests in a non-invasive cardiology lab
- Expected to complete 4–8 stress tests per shift
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed, though the unit tries to accommodate requests
