    Description

    EP Technologist (Electrophysiology Lab) – Travel Contract

    Location: Tacoma, Washington
    Contract Length: 13 weeks
    Shift: Days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
    Hours per Week: 40 hours (10 hours per day)
    Call: No call required


    Job Description

    • Work in an advanced Electrophysiology (EP) lab with 3 suites and an average of 22 cases combining Cath Lab and EP procedures.
    • Procedures include ablations, atrial fibrillation (a fib), atrial flutter, and other advanced EP cases.
    • Responsibilities include circulating and assisting; core staff handles most documentation.
    • The unit operates as a combined team with a one-team approach; teamwork and flexibility to assist where needed are expected.
    • Scrubbing in is not required.
    • Equipment used includes St Jude and Webster EP systems.
    • Prefer candidates with experience using EPIC electronic health records.
    • Leadership support available with charge or lead nurse and lead tech when staffing allows.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an EP Technologist.
    • Experience in Cath Lab and Electrophysiology required.
    • Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery preferred.
    • ICU or PACU experience is a plus.
    • Active Washington state license.
    • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and one of the following: RCIS, RT, or RCE.
    • COVID-19 vaccination required.
