CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Job Details

• Department: Radiology (CT Tech role supporting Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Room areas)
• Shift: Evenings, 5 days a week, 8 hours per shift
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
• Call: None required (but able to be on call if needed)
• Orientation: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; traveler must be available for the entire orientation week
• Equipment: GE CT equipment
• EMR System: EPIC
• Dress Code: Black scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists or physicians
• Assist radiologists with interventional and special CT procedures (e.g., biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthrography)
• Provide essential patient care during procedures
• Apply radiation safety principles
• Organize daily schedule and serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Valid Driver's License

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination is mandatory for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; no declinations accepted
• Float to other areas as required by the facility
