Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days)

Job Description

• Work under direct supervision of department manager/director, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader.
• Assist staff nurses in treatment and care of patients following established hospital procedures.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care, contributing positively to the patient and family experience.
• Strict attendance policy:

  • Three absences or being more than 20 minutes late for scheduled shifts will result in immediate termination.
  • Exceptions considered for communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence.
  • Policy effective starting 6/1/2024.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of Long Term Care (LTC) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting

Additional Information

• Nonbillable initial hours: 12 hours on bill rates over $40/hr.
• Overtime, holiday, and callback pay calculated at 1.1x regular rates.
• Local traveler policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility.
