Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Cardiology
• Department: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
• Patient Population: Adult
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: On call (>12 days required)
• Float: Occasional Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Procedures Involved: Diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, nephrostomy tube management
• Equipment: GE Fluoroscopy, transitioning to CHANGE for hemodynamics
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures

• Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation provided

• Call Requirements: On-call coverage for weekends and occasional IR procedures
